Ewout Eggink is an dutch allround, experienced voice talent, actor, musician, singer, writer and director.

He started his career as co-founder and member of the music-theatre company De Dynastie van Oer back in the eighties. Afterwards he wrote and directed RAM and in the beginning of the nineties The Showdown, a triptych. In 1997 his first book of poetry was published titled Uitgehongerd Document (Starved Document).

Since 1996 he is a much sought after voice talent. He played hundreds of dutch parts of characters including: Tetter in Bear in the Big Blue House (Henson), Francesco Bernouli in CARS II (Disney) Marvin in Christmas in Svingen (KRO), Rekkit in Rekkit Rabbit (Disney XD), Bennett in Dog with a blog (Disney XD) and Ash in I’m in the band.

He voiced campaigns for big brands like Vodafone, VW, Unilever, Nissan and many many others. His voice was used for audiotours including musea. And he played many roles in popular games including Ratchet & Clank, Heavy Rain and Uncharted; Golden Abyss.

With his lithe flexibel sound and his easy to go attitude he can deliver any message or line you want. With almost any emotion or intention you like.

Recently he started to do voice-over work in German and English.

Since 2003 he forms together with David Rous, De Dansende Dichters (The Dancing Poets). They play an amazing performance titled Anatomische liedjes (Anatomic Songs), a miraculous mix of beautiful songs, authentic poems and hilarious dances. They perform in theatres, poetry slams, festivals and in high school.

He appeared in several dutch tv-series, did many tvcommercials as well as parts in corporate movies including the leading part in Reclassering werkt, directed by Nick Jongerius.

He directed one documentary in 2004 titled; HEF a portrait of three sisters.

From 2006 till 2012, together with Eveline Hesp, he led the dutch theatre company La Pralinette de Papa Nugue, tjettergruppe. Beside, he also directed freelance, including Geeraerdt van Velsen by PC Hooft, produced by Stichting Kwast and Rauwe Sprookjes by theaterduo Vilt.

Every now and then he puts his experience in special projects, including the showcase of Misery a feel bad musical, music, script and direction Florus van Rooijen, based on Stephen King’s novel (2010).

He rewrote and directed King Lear with the new title Leer, rewrote Angels in America, rewrote The Cherry Orchard originally by Anton Tsjechov and Valerius based on A kind of Hades by Lars Noren with ingredients from One flew over the cuckoo’s nest.

In 2017 he published ‘De avonturen van Knetter en Spetter’ a childrens book which he wrote together with Thijs van Aken. Beautifully illustrated by Erik Butter. Later on that year a second book with poetry will be published ‘Kneed schoorvoetend weer een ziel’.

Ewout is a member of the dutch equity called ACT and the equity for voice actors: Samen1Stem. In this last organisation he was, in two terms, chairman of the board.
